BIO - Eduardo Gonzales – Owner – Petrolero, LLC

Eduardo Gonzales has over thirty years of experience in exploration and production as a petroleum geoscientist. He has worked in domestic and international areas with major and independent companies, as a consultant and as an independent geoscientist. Over his career, he has been involved in a variety of disciplines within the oil and gas industry including prospect generation and evaluation, property acquisitions, marketing, project management, wellsite supervision, seismic interpretation and other areas at levels ranging from regional studies to specific prospect ideas.  He has worked with a diversity of industry professionals including drilling, reservoir, production, geology, geophysics, land and other disciplines.

His areas of experience include the Permian Basin, Anadarko Basin, Mid-continent, Eastern Shelf of Texas, Texas Gulf Coast, East Texas, Rocky Mountains, Arkoma Basin, Mexico, Paraguay and Venezuela. He has worked a variety of plays including structural, stratigraphic, carbonate and clastic projects using subsurface, 2-D and 3-D seismic, geochemistry, reentries and workovers.  He has worked for major companies including Texaco, Tenneco, Diamond Shamrock/Maxus and Repsol-YPF. He has been directly involved with numerous prospects targeting Yates, San Andres, Glorieta, Clearfork, Abo, Wolfcamp, Strawn, Atoka, Morrow, Mississippian, Siluro-Devonian/Hunton, Connell and Ellenburger/Arbuckle in the Texas and Oklahoma, Cretaceous of Venezuela as well as other areas.
